Spring Planting

Yesterday I made my annual trip to the garden center to carefully select plants that I hope will thrive on my porch. I roamed around, looking at the tags on each plant as if I was a fantastic gardener. Hah! Each spring, I tell myself that I will choose the best plants and care for them lovingly. Then, I either give them too much to drink, or too little. Sad little plants, all dried up because I decided to spend the weekend at the beach and didn't water them before I left. Oopsie! This year I will be better -- promise. I found these amazing planters a few weeks ago in Home Goods. The pattern on them is so lovely, and yellow and white patterns are so pretty. I am certain that the new planters will make me want to pay better attention to the plants. Do any of you have a green thumb? Has anyone planted anything wonderful this season? I'd love to hear!
