Oh, how I've missed blogging!

Yikes, I've been away from my blog and all of your blogs for quite some time now! I hope that your Thanksgiving was full of fun, family, friends, football and love!

I last left you with the news that our sweet pup Bean had to have a tumor removed. Surgery went well, and the little beast is prancing around like nothing ever happened! Our vet let us know that the tumor removal was successful, and our little girl is cancer-free. There's a 1 in 10 chance that it could reappear at some point in her life, but for now... she's all better (and looking quite cute in a little argyle t-shirt to cover up her boo-boo)!

A few days after the dog surgery scare, my husband and I packed up and headed north to New York for a trip we've been planning since August. We popped in to see my parents for a night, and left Bean in their excellent care for a few days while we moved west through Canada to Michigan. In the thumb of Michigan (Michigan looks like a hand/mitten) we visited with our good friends the Ramseys - Kristin, Ryan, Madelyn (2 yrs. old), Ellie & Landon (7 month old twins.) The boys took off to go hunting, while Kristin and I showed off our skills at a craft show. Kristin makes adorable hats (remember my giveaway?) and I debuted the Coffee Sweaters.

Once our trip with the Ramseys came to a close, Ron and I headed back to New York to spend Thanksgiving and the weekend with my parents. We ate tons, decorated for Christmas, spent Friday shopping, and made some adorable fleece booties (DIY found on Black and White {Side by Side} blog - photos coming!). It was a fantastic trip, which came to a close yesterday.

Today, our house is decorated for Christmas, and the tree is up! Bring on the holiday!

Thank you for being patient with this little blog as I was tied up and away! Regular posts will be back tomorrow!
