I'm loving all of the lobster motifs I've seen in fashion, home decor and accessories this summer. I'm dying for the lobster sweater below, but maybe at a lower price point? The little studs and statement necklace are perfect, too.

J.Crew's Bold Fall Palette

I simply adore J.Crew. If I could choose just one store to shop in for the rest of my life, you know what I'd choose. With this in mind, I was very excited to see an email from them in my inbox today, showing off their new fall looks. As I was browsing, I started to notice bold color trends. In particular, bright saffron, hot fuchsia and flame red stood out to me. These colors are perfect for fall, breathing life into the typical warm, brown palettes we see. While I don't know if I'm brave enough to sport bright red matchstick pants, I know I'd love to choose accessories and tops in these colors. What do you think?

Black & Blue

Lately, I've been loving bright cobalt blue when paired with black. For New Year's Eve dinner, I rocked a bright blue satin cocktail dress (from H & M) with black tights and patent leather black heels. Sadly, there are no pictures to document the outfit *sigh*. Black is classic and chic, while the bright pop of blue adds fun to any look. Much to my excitement, Maggie of Black and White {Side by Side} posted some seriously amazing flats by Christian Siriano for Payless. I immediately fell in love. I was then inspired to put together a few black and blue looks on Polyvore (my first time to the site -- it's addictive!) What do you think about this color combination? Would you wear it?

Crisp & Clean Style

Now that the holidays are over, I’m through with winter -- I’d like sun, warm breezes and spring, please! I know my wishing won’t bring the warmer months any sooner, but this fashion trend might put my mind on spring and summer:

According to InStyle.com, the white tee is making a comeback. I love this crisp, clean and preppy look. It just makes me think of crisp spring days. A white tee looks so cute with almost all bottoms, don’t you think? I know I’ll be stocking up on a few white tees over the next few weeks (all while ignoring the fact that my arms are a *lovely* wintertime pale!)

J.Crew and Gap have standard white tees that should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe, while Old Navy offers a chic version of the white tee with a sequined pocket.

Bright Suede Shoe Trend

Suede shoes in bright shades are making feet happy this fall, according to InStyle. Their Hottest Shoe Trends article highlights several pairs of kicks in all the colors of the rainbow. While my toes aren't daring enough to don these sassy heels, I'll leave you with my picks for colored suede heels:
